FATHER THOMAS REESE THE LITURGY IN THE ORDINARY FORM AS WELL AS ITS CALENDAR ALREADY HAS A SO-CALLED COMPUTER SOFTWARE UPGRADE AND IT IS CALLED DIVINE WORSHIP, THE MISSAL AND IT IS ALREADY IN USE IN AMERICA!

It's a silly metaphor for the Liturgy and symptomatic of priests my age and older like Jesuit Father Thomas Reese who thinks the liturgy is something to be fabricated with every changing fad and that it must be based upon themes and banners, burlap and felt. . The National Chismatic Reporter (NCR) has a piece by the infamous Fr. Tom Reese on Pope Francis’s recent Motu Proprio in which he uses and some say exploits the metaphor of liturgy as computer software that gets  upgrades as liturgical technology improves, a kind of organic electronic development of the liturgy if you will.

Well, I would like to take the computer software metaphor and show Fr. Reese how these upgrades are done and the upgrade is The Ordinariate's Divine Worship, the Missal has upgraded the Ordinary Form of the Mass already!

Here's the proof in upgraded PDF form by pressing this sentence to view. (Ignore the Anglican usage parts and focus on the restoration of Catholic liturgical sensibility restorations.) Simply look at the Prayers at the Foot of the Altar, the traditional offertory prayers, the rubrics for genuflecting at the consecration and after the "Per Ipsum" and kissing the altar each time the priest turns from it; please notice too that the Lord I am not worthy may be said three times and the Lamb of God has the traditional Requiem version and there is the Last Gospel all of these computer software upgrades to the liturgy. I WONDER WHY FR. REESE IGNORES THESE?

Now that Pope Francis has given our American Bishops' Conferences and local bishops more liturgical authority to fabricate the Mass, maybe they'll give us what Pope Francis has already given the Ordinariate. Is this SOFTWEAR UPGRADE too much to ask AND DOWNLOAD???????

Or, they'll go after consubstantial because that word is to 'hard' as well as pro multidisciplinary, high five each other and call it a day.

Sorry about the above. I should stop trying to use a cell phone to comment.
